New Here?

You’re welcome! Let’s get acquainted…

Worship, Fellowship & Study
Our service is on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am.
Fellowship time is at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall.
Spiritual Formation classes for all ages begin at 10:30 am.

Dress is casual. God looks on the heart, not a person’s clothes so please wear what is comfortable for you.

Children are always welcome to worship with their families at our services AND materials are available for those with shorter attention spans.

Nursery attendants are on duty for infants and preschoolers and children up to 3rd grade may participate in Children’s Church during the sermon. We offer fun Christian Education classes for children from nursery through high school following the worship service.

Our music is contemporary in nature and led by our worship team.

How does one become a member?

Becoming a member here means that you officially identify with the mission and values of First Presbyterian Church of Golden. If you are interested, we offer Inquirers classes periodically where those interested in joining our church can get to know one another and have their questions answered. New members are then accepted on a profession of faith and baptism, transfer from another church, or reaffirmation of faith before the Session of Elders.

If you have further questions, please feel free to call our church office at (303) 279-5591 and speak with our office administrator, Tiffany Rubio .

Our Mission & Vision

Our goal is to be spiritually formed into Christ-likeness for the benefit of others.

We are a worshiping community, listening for God’s Word through the Holy Scriptures, where we sing,                                            pray and celebrate, expecting the Spirit to shape us to easily and naturally do what Jesus would do.

Our life together seeks to embody the joyful, exuberant fellowship that characterizes the relationship                                  between the Father, Son and Spirit. Spiritual formation in Jesus is a life-long endeavor.

We engage in and encourage each other to grow in the personal spiritual disciplines that Jesus embraced.
